COLOMBIA, Bogotá, gold cob 2 escudos, Charles II posthumous, no assayer (Arce), NGC MS 62 (1715 Fleet Shipwreck Label). Restrepo-M66.32; S-B24; Cal-Type 242 (under Ph. V); KM-14.2; Fr-4a. 6.76 grams. Rather compact flan (thick) with nearly full shield and cross nonetheless but both sides somewhat double-struck, some legend but no part of the date visible (1711 by die style with C4-type obverse, lions and castles transposed). From the 1715 Fleet (reportedly from the Regla site).
